Squarespace is very limited when it comes to design and capabilities.

There is no option to add a custom loader in Squarespace

solution presented

Complex animations were implemented using GSAP
Complex sections were implemented using JavaScript and jQuery code
Custom GIF loader and hero animated sections were developed using custom code
